Kitchen Faucets
A faucet upgrade is the single highest-impact kitchen DIY per yen spent.
Verify the cabinet frame can handle the dishwasher’s weight (about 30u201340 kg). Add reinforcing lumber or plywood as needed. A dishwasher vibrates during operation, so a solid base is essential. m(_ _)m
Routing the Plumbing Cleanly
Secure water supply and drain hoses under the sink with cable ties. A kinked hose reduces flow and can cause leaks. Always verify no hose is under stress with the cabinet door closed.

Hi, it’s DIY Dad! A big deal and a large batch of other tasks today u2014 powering through with full energy! Oh, and apparently there’s a marathon tomorrow u2014 not that DIY Dad is running, but the family is going to enjoy it as an event. Continuing the 1F kitchen renovation!
With the dishwasher removed from its temporary test position, I cut out the obstructing rear kitchen wall with a saw. First I mark the cut dimensions.

After cutting. After cutting I realized there was no point leaving the lower section of the board u2014 rookie mistake! Cut it all out. Double work, but there you go.
